I am aware that some of the wetlands are threatened—I think it might have something to do with the drought. Forgive me for saying that—that is blaming somebody, is it, animating nature? That is apparently the ‘blame game’, Mr Speaker. Let me also say this to the member for Melbourne Ports—a member on the other side whom I respect a great deal: I don’t think signing the Kyoto protocol is going to do anything to save Australian wetlands.
