The Treasurer went on to say on radio this morning that we are running down the Future Fund. The fact is that this is a genuine, well-considered investment in Australia’s future. It is an investment to lift productivity growth. It is an investment to improve the viability of small businesses and independent contractors. Why would the government be opposed to that?
