by leave—I move:
That:
- (a)
- so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent, at the next sitting, the Prime Minister speaking for an unspecified period of time on a motion offering an apology to Australia’s Indigenous Peoples and for the Leader of the Opposition to speak for a period of time equivalent to that taken by the Prime Minister; and
- (b)
- standing order 133 (Deferred divisions on Mondays and Tuesdays) and standing order 33 (Limit on business) be suspended for this sitting.
