On 18 November your learned leader promised that this parliament would be back before Christmas. It was his promise, it was not sought by any of us, and he breached it. On 29 November there was a promise that there would be no holidays. There is no problem with people doing that, but not if you lie about it, not if you tell the Australian people that there will be no holidays—
