The member for Port Adelaide chose to commence his presentation to this parliament with some derogatory comments about the previous speaker. Might I say, from one who has been here a long time, when you learn to make a speech without reading every word of it you will have the opportunity to give advice to others. It seems to be now a pattern within this parliament that even every answer to a question is pre-scripted and some of the jokes that are included are as flat as the floor in this parliament.
