During the question time the Prime Minister mentioned that I had on my website that the Australian public had received more funding for schools and universities from the government than ever before. That was during the course of the Howard government’s years. I was referring to when I was the Parliamentary Secretary for Education, Science and Training, and the funding referred to explicit funding through the Investing in Our Schools program where the general public got $1.2 billion funding from the Howard government.
