I thank the honourable member for Lyne for his question, as it goes to the direct impact of climate change on local communities—in particular, coastal communities in Australia. I welcome the question, because it is about the reality of climate change, the reality of its impact and what we do about it, and because it is coming from someone who is not a climate change denier, which is what we normally encounter when we receive questions from the opposition.
