My question is to the Prime Minister. To be eligible for Better Start, a child must have an eligible diagnosis. But this leaves children like five-year-old Lachlan from my electorate ineligible, even though he cannot walk or talk properly and needs therapy similar to that offered to children with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy or autism, who do qualify. PM, the NDIS is great but no use to Lachlan right now. Please, can Better Start be extended to little Lachlan immediately?
