Adelaide: Traffic Congestion

In the remaining time, I would like to speak on one of my favourite topics, which is traffic congestion on South Road. Three weeks ago residents of Adelaide woke up to the announcement splashed on the front page of the Advertiser that the state government had come up with a new South Road plan. Now, less than three weeks after that was released, we see that the numbers do not stack up. Only $20 million has been put by the federal government towards that, with $5 million from the state government, and nothing will really get going until 2017. This is a fraud on the South Australian public.
