My question is to the Prime Minister. On ABC Radio this morning, Malcolm Turnbull confirmed that it was government policy, supported by the now Prime Minister, to hold a federal election on 2 March next year. Mr Turnbull also warned that the performance of the Abbott-Turnbull-Morrison government could damage the New South Wales government's chances of re-election. What discussions has the Prime Minister had with the New South Wales Liberal Premier about the timing of the federal election?
