For the information of members of the House, I have a short statement about the electronic division recording system. Members would be aware that the tellers are now recording the votes during divisions using iPads. This system is delivering immediate publication of the results and other information on divisions for observers of proceedings. I'm now pleased to advise that, resulting from this innovation, a new House division database has been developed that will make divisions in the House available to observers, including the public, immediately and in a format which will enable the searching of division information and collecting of statistics. The new webpage is now live on the APH website under the House of Representatives chamber and business documents.

Members may also have noticed the replacement of the display screens on the chamber floor with larger screens. This will provide a more effective display of information about proceedings before the House, as well as the display of division results after they are announced.
