You may be pleased to hear the even better answer! There were 29,416 inward travel exemption decisions of the Border Force commissioner—that is, allowing foreign nationals to enter Australia for the reasons that I set out. In the circumstances that I was asked about, in relation to Mr Abbott, there were some 95,271 such decisions where those exemption decisions were provided for Australians.
