I move:
That the amendments be agreed to.
Very briefly, the passing of these amendments will represent the passage of the Family Assistance Legislation Amendment (Child Care Subsidy) Bill 2021 through the parliament to become law. This is a very significant bill that will make a real difference to 250,000 families across this country who have two or more children in childcare. This is a package which is good for families and good for the economy because it creates incentives for women particularly but also for men to do those extra days at work. It addresses some of the workforce disincentives which come about from higher costs to child care. I thank the opposition for its cooperation in dealing with this bill and dealing with these amendments in a timely manner. We finish this session having passed a very significant bill—a bill which is great for those families, great for the economy and good for businesses as well.
Question agreed to.
