Sorry, Member for Fowler, if I can interject for a moment, the convention of the House is normally that, once the mover of an amendment has spoken, the next speaker would come from the other side of the House. If you would bear with me so we can observe convention, I'll do some housekeeping. The amendment is now seconded. The original question was that this bill be now read a second time. To this the honourable member for Farrer moved as an amendment that all words after 'That' be omitted with a view to substituting other words. The honourable member for Mayo has now moved an amendment to that amendment—that all words after 'whilst' be omitted with a view to substituting other words. The question now is that the amendment moved by the honourable member for Mayo to the amendment moved by the honourable member for Farrer be disagreed to.
