When that was blocked by the Senate, rightly so, instead he started a six-year freeze to the Medicare rebate, which ripped billions and billions of dollars out of general practice. No wonder Australia's doctors overwhelmingly voted the Leader of the Opposition the worst health minister in Australia in the Medicare era. He just can't be trusted with Australia's health care.
