I was asked about the inflationary pressures in the economy, and the wasted decade did not help. When it came to the pressures that we inherited, our budget combined cost-of-living relief and investment in the supply side of the economy. It was a responsible budget, and, as the governor made clear today, it's taking the pressure off inflation, not adding to it.
