With respect, the Prime Minister is demonstrating none to you at the moment. You have given him a direction. He was asked a specific question, not 'whether he would rule in or out'. The question was, 'Does the Prime Minister guarantee that during his prime ministership he will not change the current negative gearing and capital gains tax treatment of rental properties?' That was the question put. The preprepared list that he's got for ruling things out is not relevant to this question—
