Labor created Medicare, and we will protect it. We are delivering $1.7 billion more for public hospitals and health services next year. Stronger Medicare, better hospitals—a better Australia. This is unlike the Leader of the Opposition, who gutted our hospitals and gutted Medicare. Why? Cuts, cuts, cuts, obsessed with cuts—that's the Liberal way, and he will not say what he will cut next year.
