My question is to the Deputy Prime Minister. Does the Deputy Prime Minister recall giving the following answer to a question on when he first knew about AWB violating UN sanctions against Saddam Hussein’s regime on 8 November 2005: ‘The allegations raised first came to my attention as a result of the Volcker inquiry’? Deputy Prime Minister, isn’t it a fact that specific concerns about AWB were raised in the September 2003 US Defense study and that that merely followed the Canadians, the United Nations and AWB officials when they became CPA officers? Deputy Prime Minister, haven’t you serially misled the House?
