Mr Speaker, you drew the attention of honourable members to page 501 of House of Representatives Practice and quoted a Senate ruling. I appreciate that you must take pearls of wisdom where you find them, but the particular ruling was in 1955. I was wondering whether you might be able to have a word to the editor of House of Representatives Practice to see whether or not a more relevant quotation or ruling, perhaps from one of your worthy predecessors or even from the House of Commons, might be available to sustain the ruling. How many other Senate rulings has the distinguished editor of House of Representatives Practice included in House of Representatives Practice?
