My question is to the Prime Minister. Is the Prime Minister aware that the government is refusing access under freedom of information to the same one-page costings table from the Department of Finance and Administration that was attached to the Prime Minister’s national water plan speech on 25 January? Prime Minister, isn’t it arrogant in the extreme to hide basic documents on the national water plan from the Australian public?

I have an answer and an observation. The answer is that I will check with the relevant minister and the department as to what is being refused, and the observation is that, as late as the Leader of the Opposition’s budget reply, I thought he supported the national water plan. Why are they constantly asking questions trying to undermine it?
