I have a question to you, Mr Speaker. My question to you is: how many members from the opposition side of the House were ejected from parliament today and how many were warned? On the other side, how many were ejected and how many were warned?

Mr Speaker, on a point of order: that question is plainly a reflection on the chair by a member who regularly reflects on the chair, and this member should be dealt with.

The member for Grayndler has been warned. If he wants me to answer his question before he adds his name to that list, he might listen. I say to the member for Grayndler: the answer is quite simple. He should refer to the Hansard.

Is it the case that before today 30 members on this side of the House had been asked to leave the House and only one member of the government? Can I ask a further question?

The Manager of Opposition Business is asking questions that he can find out for himself from the chamber research office. I refer him to there.

Mr Speaker, can I ask a further question: is it acceptable that the Leader of the House has yet to name a standing order a single time that he has gone—
David Hawker (Speaker) Share this | Link to this | Hansard source
The member will resume his seat. That is not a point of order and it is not a question.

The member for Grayndler is going perilously close to being disciplined.
