On 12 June the member for Hinkler asked where the stormwater from Parliament House is stored. Stormwater from Parliament House is not stored but runs into the ACT stormwater system. The ACT is within the Murray-Darling catchment area, and stormwater from Parliament House eventually enters the Murray-Darling river system, where it is available to users in inland New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
