My question is to the Treasurer. I refer to his previous answer. When was the Treasury advised of the government’s decision to appoint Mr Bracks to head the panel and when did the Treasury give its advice to the Treasurer regarding the role of the Productivity Commission?

We took advice from the Treasury, and the government took its final formal decision last night.
