My question is addressed to the Prime Minister. How can the Prime Minister claim, as he did in his answer to my previous question, that the government is still to settle its position regarding the application to the Fair Pay Commission, when the government decided at its cabinet meeting of 25 February to ignore Treasury advice and to not include a specific increase amount in its submission to the Fair Pay Commission?
Kevin Rudd (Griffith, Australian Labor Party, Prime Minister) Share this | Link to this | Hansard source
I thank the honourable member for his question. The government is yet to determine its final position on this matter and, when it does, the country will be the first to know about it.
