I have received the return to the writ which I issued on 4 August 2008 for the election of a member to serve for the electoral division of Lyne, in the state of New South Wales, to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of the Hon. Mark Vaile. By the endorsement on the writ, it is certified that Robert Oakeshott has been elected.
