Mr Speaker, I inform the House that the Prime Minister will be absent from question time today as he is attending the funeral of Lieutenant Fussell in Sydney. I will answer questions on his behalf. The Minister for Defence and the Minister for Defence Science and Personnel are also accompanying the Prime Minister to the funeral, as is the Leader of the Opposition. The Attorney-General and the Minister for Veterans’ Affairs will answer questions on behalf of the Minister for Defence and the Minister for Defence Science and Personnel respectively. The Minister for Foreign Affairs remains absent from question time today, and the Minister for Trade will answer questions on his behalf.
