My question is to the Prime Minister. I draw the Prime Minister’s attention to comments by the Queensland Premier yesterday where she stated that federal funds to Queensland would be ‘at risk’ if Labor lost the upcoming state election. Can the Prime Minister confirm the statement that Queensland projects are under threat?

I say to the member for Bowman that the risk to federal funds for Queensland lay with his opposition in voting against the Nation Building and Jobs Plan. I would suggest to the honourable member that he ‘fess up to his constituents that he voted against the school modernisation program for every primary school in Bowman and every secondary school in Bowman, against social housing in that part of Queensland and against energy insulation in his electorate as well. I think the monumental hypocrisy of that question being asked by a member who voted against the program is beyond all proportion.
