I refer to your letter of 10 December 2008 with regard to a petition concerning the Lord’s Prayer. I can advise you that I am not aware that any proposal to change arrangements related to Standing Order 38 is under consideration. I also note that consideration of such an amendment to the Standing Orders would normally be first considered by the Standing Committee on Procedure and then put to the House for consideration.
