My question is to the Prime Minister. Will the Prime Minister guarantee that the government will not remove concessions on superannuation in the budget?
Kevin Rudd (Griffith, Australian Labor Party, Prime Minister) Share this | Link to this | Hansard source
The government stands by its pre-election commitments and, as the honourable member for Moore will know, repeating an earlier statement by the member for Higgins on pre-budget speculation, this government will adhere to the conventions that have always been adhered to, which is that we will not be commenting one way or the other on budget processes. But I say for the benefit of the member for Moore that the government stands by its pre-election commitments in relation to superannuation, 100 per cent.
