Mr Speaker, I refer to your ruling on my question without notice of last Thursday to the Deputy Prime Minister seeking an explanation of her position in relation to cuts to Medicare funding of IVF given she had previously tabled petitions containing more than 1,300 signatures opposing cuts to Medicare funding. I refer the Speaker to the rulings made by Speaker Hawker on questions to Deputy Prime Minister Vaile—
