Mr Speaker, I seek brief indulgence to say something that I would have liked to have said earlier today in question time.

Order! I am sorry, Leader of the House; indulgence is in the hands of the Speaker. I grant the Leader of the Opposition a brief indulgence.

I entirely accept your admonition, Mr Speaker. I say on behalf of the coalition that we warmly welcome the visit to Australia of President Obama. President Obama is the leader of the free world. He should always be welcome in this country and he will always be welcome as far as the coalition is concerned.
