Thank you. A short time ago, in answer to a question from his own side, the minister for the environment suggested that I was advocating additional water be taken off irrigators, to wit, referring to the Friday announcement of an extra 450 gigalitres. I certainly have never advocated and will never advocate for an additional 450 gigalitres to be taken from irrigators, and I certainly have said in the past that there should not be any water further purchased on a non-strategic basis from irrigators. Any additional water in the past should have been found through irrigation investment and environmental works and measures.

In question time the minister for education claimed that I believed public school funding was an injustice. This is completely false and the opposition has never supported ripping $3.9 billion out of education funding, as this government did just last week.
