In 2007 the Labor Party came to government and they were bequeathed a golden legacy of not one dollar of government debt after John Howard and Peter Costello created more than two million new jobs, with a more than 20 per cent increase in real wages, paid back $96 billion of debt and left $70 billion in the bank—
