Today in question time the Minister for Communications claimed that as Minister for Communications, Broadband and the Digital Economy in the former government I refused to release NBN Co.'s corporate plan. The facts are these. The NBN Co. corporate plans are the only government business enterprise corporate plans that have ever been released. The 2011 to 2014 and the 2012 to 2015 plans were released after cabinet consideration and approval. The final corporate plan, 2013 to 2016, was not received by me, let alone approved by cabinet, before the election and therefore could not be released.
