I have received messages from the Senate informing the House that Senator Xenophon has been appointed a participating member of the Joint Standing Committee on Electoral Matters and a member of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade and, secondly, that Senator Siewert has been appointed a member of the Joint Select Committee on Northern Australia.
