Yesterday I attended the Little Wars convention at the Vikings club in Conder. This was a new experience for me, where I got the opportunity to meet with war gamers who took the time to talk to me through their passion. I know war gamers are often the subject of derision, but I was impressed by the knowledge and attention to detail of the gamers that I met and by their commitment to getting young Canberrans involved in war gaming.
