My question is to the minister representing the Special Minister of State. The New South Wales Electoral Commission recently stated that Senator Sinodinos was the honorary treasurer at all material times that the New South Wales Liberal Party breached New South Wales electoral laws. Section 7 of the Commonwealth Electoral Act states that the Australian Electoral Commission may report on electoral matters referred to it by the minister. Will the Special Minister of State direct the AEC to report on whether any organisation that received donations from the Free Enterprise Foundation complied with all Commonwealth electoral laws?
