My question is to the Prime Minister. Yesterday in question time the Prime Minister was asked whether the Attorney-General had given the Solicitor-General a verbal instruction not to run a particular argument in the High Court—a question that the Prime Minister and the Attorney-General repeatedly refused to answer. So I ask again: did the Attorney give this instruction—yes or no?

I dealt with that matter yesterday by referring the honourable member to the Attorney's comprehensive statement delivered in the Senate.
