My question is to the Prime Minister. Is the Prime Minister aware that media, including foreign media agencies, were given advance notice of the statement to the parliament last night by the member for Canning, who was hand-picked by the Prime Minister to be trusted with security and intelligence information? Did the Chair of the Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security tell the Prime Minister that he'd be sharing information about an FBI investigation disclosed during a confidential briefing from our ally?

No, he did not. The first I knew of the honourable member for Canning's remarks last night was after they'd been delivered.
