I rise to bring to the attention of the House the continuing concerns of many of the 15,000 small businesses in my electorate. They are calling for further reductions in red tape and industrial tape and more flexible workplaces so that they can reform and grow. They welcome the tax cuts down to 27.5 per cent for businesses with less than $50 million turnover and the instant asset write-off, but the reality is we need to do more. People in small business are the ones who take the risks. They put their houses on the line, they employ people locally and regionally and they deserve more help from us.
