Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?

I do. I was misrepresented by the former Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, in the House on 15 August, 2018. The former Prime Minister alleged that in the course of the recent Mayo by-election, I'd made $700 million worth of promises. This is completely untrue. I tested this allegation through a question in writing, referred to as question No. 1054, in response to the current Prime Minister. He did not provide any evidence of how or where I made such a commitment, or what such a commitment was for. He merely stated that commitments made by other candidates are matters for other candidates. As a candidate and now returned member who did not make any commitments to the value of $700 million, I formally request the Prime Minister set the record straight and withdraw the comment that I made any such commitment, as it is quite clearly untrue.
