() (): With Labor, it's always them first, you last. At the last election, Labor said negative gearing was critical to housing affordability. They knew it wasn't true, and yesterday Labor MPs backgrounded the press, saying, 'For the amount of money it raises, versus the political pain, it's just not worth it.' Either housing affordability matters but they'd rather have the votes, or it doesn't and they just want your cash. Labor first, you last.
