My question is to the Acting Prime Minister. This morning the minister for resources said, about a commitment to net zero by 2050:
… that has not been sought from the Nationals …
He went on to say:
It would require agreement, and that has not been reached.
Is the minister for resources correct?

Emissions are 20 per cent lower than they were in 2004. We should be proud of that. They are lower than in the United States of America, than what Canada has produced. And I tell you what we will do. As Nationals, as Liberals, we will do it with technology, not taxes.

That's how we're going to reduce emissions.
