I inform the House that pursuant to standing order 110 the honourable member for Hughes has postponed notice No. 1 standing in his name. The order of precedence for remaining private members' business notices as determined by the Selection Committee's report adopted by the House on 25 August 2021 remains unchanged. I will say to the member for Hughes, who's here for the next item: in putting forward a private member's bill, the committee has no choice but to give that precedence. In not proceeding with it today, as you've done, that's denied two other members the opportunity to speak on other matters the Selection Committee could have dealt with. For the fairness of members, I need to point that out. I won't take up any more time on that.
