My question is to the Prime Minister. If the Prime Minister's proposed national anticorruption body had reason to believe there was evidence of serious and systemic corruption would it have the power to investigate the member for Pearce's secret donations?

I do thank the member for his question. We've been extremely clear in relation to the Commonwealth Integrity Commission. We have been extremely clear that the Commonwealth Integrity Commission will have the power to examine serious criminally corrupt conduct and it will have the same powers as a royal commission to investigate criminal corruption in the public sector. We have been very clear about our model. We have been consulting extensively on it and, as the Prime Minister says, we look to the opposition to join with us in developing and implementing this model.
