Mr Speaker, this being my first occasion to speak in this parliament, I congratulate you on your new role. I ask leave the House to move a motion to appoint a member to the Parliamentary Retiring Allowances Trust.

That, in accordance with the provisions of the Parliamentary Contributory Superannuation Act 1948, Ms Vamvakinou be appointed a trustee to serve on the Parliamentary Retiring Allowances Trust.
