Peace, love, unity and respect—I said this in this my first speech, and I reiterate these words now. We must apply these words to our everyday actions as we advocate for those amid this horrible war. I've spoken on the atrocity of war before, and, as a Buddhist, I have always advocated for peace. My electorate office has received hundreds of letters of correspondence regarding the ongoing humanitarian situation. I have personally been contacted by the community directly affected by the war. I am listening. We cannot be a silent observer in the face of violence. I grieve for those whose lives were lost, regardless of their background. Life is so precious. I advocate for the most basic of human rights—the right to live. Lasting peace requires all sides to respect the rights of each other. It cannot be forced, and, as a country— (Time expired)
