My question is to the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs and concerns the meetings held by the Prime Minister with the then New Zealand Prime Minister in mid-2022. Did the minister have any conversations with the Prime Minister or his office detailing what needed to be implemented following the commitment given by the Prime Minister to the then New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, around visa cancellations?

I thank the member for Flinders for her question. Obviously, I can't speak to meetings the Prime Minister had with any other prime minister or, indeed, meetings the Prime Minister had with any other person. What I can say is that I did the work for ministerial direction 99 with my office in our national interest.
