My question is for the minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Has the minister's department modelled how much farmers will pay of the $2.3 billion Treasury has estimated in extra compliance costs for compulsory sustainability and scope 3 reporting the government is introducing? What will be the flow-on cost to families at the checkout?

I thank the member opposite for his question. The member opposite knows we are working on a plan in terms of sustainability and climate change for the agriculture sector, and that plan has been worked on for some time. Also, when it comes to food prices—

and competition, we all know what their policy is: divestiture of supermarket. They don't have anything over there. We are investing and making sure that we put downward pressure on food prices—that's why we funded CHOICE, that's why we did the ACCC inquiry and that's why Dr Craig Emerson has conducted a review of the food and groceries code of conduct.
